Debbie realized during lock-down that going to see live theatre was what she missed the most. But she also realized that after a few early forays on stage before concentrating on her career (Hello Dolly in Canberra for example) she’s always been in the audience. In 2020 she enrolled in classes at Darlo Drama in Sydney and has become a theatre-tragic. Acting classes, stage management (Steel Magnolias – Genesian in 2023) and directing for Short+ Sweet in 2024. Her performances include, Sybil Birling – An Inspector Calls, Miss Pettigrew – The Ballad of Maria Marten, Auntie Pie in The Book of Everything. Debbie is excited to join the Guild Theatre for the first time as Mickey in The Odd Couple (Female Version).
