Koren Chambers

Crossing Delancey was Koren’s first production at The Guild Theatre. She says ‘working with everyone has been a welcoming and beautiful experience… I hope I can bring many more stories and characters to life on this stage.’ Koren trained at NIDA, ATYP, and then later in Los Angeles before working in film and TV as an actor and producer. After the sudden passing of her younger brother, James ‘JJ’ Jonathon, a phenomenal actor and singer, she took a break from the industry but was thrilled to return to the stage this year as Ellen in Daniel Keene’s Life Without Me. Koren is now a high school English and Drama teacher who loves sharing her passion for theatre and storytelling with her students.
.
‘There is a sense of family in community theatre that not many people can understand unless you’re in it. The bonds you make, the laughter you share, and the memories created along the way stay with you forever. It’s about bringing people together to create something special and tell a story for the community.’ – Koren Chambers
