Melissa Gosling-Smith

Melissa Gosling-Smith is not new to the realm of theatre as she has been involved with the Guild Theatre, Sutherland Theatre Company, Engadine Musical Society and Miranda Musical over many years. She recently played Eileen in Look Look at the Guild Theatre. Also, after playing Charlotte Wilton in Enchanted April with Sutherland Theatre Company in 2015 she reprised this role two years later with the Guild Theatre and enjoyed it immensely.
Melissa is passionate about acting and is privileged to have attained a Diploma of Acting with Sydney Acting School, a UNSW Bachelor of Arts Degree Majoring in Theatre and Performance Studies, and an UNSW Masters of Teaching Degree (majoring in Drama and minoring in English Literature). She is grateful to be part of the Guild Theatre community and credits the theatre as playing a pivotal role in her life, allowing her to have the confidence to create the unique characters that she does. She enjoys writing short stories and being a contestant in Television competitions. In 2009 Melissa was touted as “Australia’s Most Embarrassing Mum” in the TV show Wipeout Australia!
