Maria has been performing with the Guild for 16 years. Some of her favourite roles include Serafina – The Rose Tattoo, Celia – Calendar Girls, Sissy – Come Back to the Five n Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean, Sybil – Private Lives and more recently Fran – An O.Henry Christmas. She is excited to be playing the role of Olive in The Odd Couple (Female Version) a role she has been hoping to add to her list since the 1990s.
Having performed with many musical theatre and dramatic companies, some of her other favourite roles include Maria – West Side Story; Julie Jordan – Carousel; Hodel – Fiddler on the Roof; Miss Adelaide – Guys n Dolls; Lucy – You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown; Jacqueline – Death on the Nile; Jaqueline – Boeing, Boeing and Deirdre – I Hate Hamlet.
