Sue Green

Sue’s father was a producer if ice dancing spectaculars in the UK, so she naturally grew up with a passion for the ice. This later evolved into a career as a professional dancer and a love for the theatre.

Sue discovered The Guild Theatre through a friend who was already a member. When Sue came along to see her first show, Steel Magnolias, she was struck by how intimate and friendly The Guild seemed. It had an intimate family atmosphere where everyone was welcoming.

Outside of the theatre, Sue is always hard at work being both a military and a civilian nurse. She loves an evening out at the cinema and still finds time for figure skating and ice hockey.

‘Community theatre is about having fun, doing something you love that takes you out of your comfort zone and meeting like minded people.’ – Sue Green
