Gary Clark

Gary started acting in 2007 when in an act of serendipity, he was discovered in his first acting lesson and cast in The Arts Theatre Cronulla’s production of My Three Angels. Thus began his love affair with the theatre, to paraphrase Dinty “he’s caught the Bug, he’s a thespian now!”

Since then, he has starred in over 18 full-length productions and 9 short-run plays. “I’ve mostly played the leading man but am happy to be on stage in any part, as O Henry would say “There are no small parts only small actors”, a truism in which I heartily believe.” He said.

“It’s a joy to play a historical personage even a fictionalised version of one, and I adore the chance to inhabit a time when words were gentler, ideals and honour were not just words, and the goodness of the human spirit could conquer all.”
