Mel Day

Mel completed full-time Stage and Screen Studies at the Australian Academy of Dramatic Art, then an Advanced Diploma in Theatre and Performance at the University of New England. She is a co-founder of Crying Chair Theatre and a teacher at Inner West Drama. Mel has appeared in numerous theatre productions, with her most recent being The Ghost Writer (Crying Chair Theatre and Secret House, Sydney) and The Wasp (Crying Chair Theatre, Sydney and Hobart). She has also worked in TV and film, and provides voice overs for online corporate training. This is Mel’s debut at The Guild Theatre Rockdale and she is thrilled to be working with Scott and Christiane on this beautiful script.
